Trivia about this website...

This web site is written, developed, managed, designed, programmed, shaken and stirred, administered and cooked thoroughly by Sherryl Stalinski, M.A. (our Executive Director). Sherryl has 20 years experience in marketing communications, and print and internet communications design. Sherryl even took all of the photographs used throughout the site showing off our beautiful desert. So, we save a TON of money producing and managing our web-site in house, but it takes time and every bit of support we get helps us to maintain what we believe is a valuable resource in the world. Our site is currently hosted by a traditional hosting service in San Diego. We like them; Reasonable prices, good service packages, and best of all: live human tech support.

Sherryl can sometimes be bribed out of semi-retirement to design and develop web sites for speakers, authors, trainers and consultants (her specialty). The extra work helps support her non-profit habit :-).

Sherryl began her doctorate work with a focus on E-Learning and online instructional design, and is currently developing ways to implement industry "best practices" in training and development for Internet-based workshops and seminars that are valuable and effective.

For all you technogeeks who are just curious: This web site was designed with DreamWeaver 4.0, with Macromedia Fireworks 4 used to create all the graphic elements. Sherryl hasn't had a chance to learn Flash yet. Be patient.
